Frequently Asked Questions
Can a left-handed golfer use the Lag-A-Nator?
Yes. It is a relatively simple process. There is a video in our youtube channel that describes the process.
Is the Lag-A-Nator adjustable for children as well as an adult who is over 6 feet tall?
Yes. There are multiple adjustments for height and downswing angle. There is a video on our youtube channel that describes the entire process. (We haven’t tested the adjustments for someone over 6’ 2” yet – but we are doing our best to find an acceptable candidate.)
How long will the vinyl for the club path last?
As of this date we have been unable to wear out the club path. We are asking customers to provide us with feedback and we intend to replace parts at no cost as a result of normal wear and tear.
Can I return the product for a full refund if my swing doesn’t improve?
There are too many variables to guarantee improvement for every golfer. We do offer a full refund if any customer is dissatisfied within the first 30 days.
Is it easy to replace parts if something breaks?
Yes. There is only one part that is custom made and everything else can be purchased at Lowe’s or Home Depot. It is our goal to offer exceptional customer service and we will do our best to address and correct unexpected circumstances. PS: One Lag-A-Nator did fly out the back of a pick-up truck and its condition was beyond repair.
Do you ship to Canada?
Please send us an email and we will do our best to get you a Lag-A-Nator. If you’re serious about improving your golf swing – so are we!
Should I tell my golf instructor I’m using the Lag-A-Nator?
Definitely! We want to work collaboratively with all golf instructors to do what is best for the student.
Can you recommend any golf mats, practice balls or hitting nets to use with the Lag-A-Nator?
We are in the process of reaching out to vendors to offer price reductions for accessories, but at this time we have not established any partnerships. We will keep participants in our blog and mailing list informed as things develop.
Can I use my driver and hybrids with the Lag-A-Nator?
We recommend using a wedge to a 7 iron. We have used hybrids successfully, but the length of a driver shaft hasn’t worked very well. Let us know if you have a different experience.
What is the average length of time before I can expect to see improvements?
A majority of users see results pretty quickly, but the challenge is to replace a bad habit with a good habit. If you’ve been swinging over the top for 2 decades, then it’s not realistic to assume you can expect a permanent change in a few weeks. Tiger said when he makes a minor change in his grip, it takes 800 swings before he’ll feel comfortable. Many professionals have said it takes 3 months before they feel comfortable with a swing change. These are professionals who practice 7 days a week.
